Elie has a proven track record of success as a consultant, offering expert advice to organizations on enhancing internal controls and mitigating financial risks. His passion for sharing knowledge is evident through his role as a lecturer, where he educates future professionals in auditing and fraud prevention.
Elie holds multiple prestigious certifications, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Enterprise Risk Management (CERM). His expertise has earned him recognition as an industry leader, evidenced by his election to the board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Throughout his career, Elie has demonstrated exceptional skills in risk-based internal and external audits, fraud investigation, corporate governance, compliance assessment, business process reengineering, and risk management. He has successfully managed teams, conducted in-depth risk assessments, and communicated effectively with senior management and stakeholders to address control weaknesses and implement remediation plans.
Elie is currently serving as a Consultant at Globus Gro Consultancy, where he leads audit engagements across various industries. His prior experience includes significant roles at the Bank of Beirut & Arab Countries (BBAC) and The Capital Insurance & Reinsurance Co., where he held key positions in fraud prevention and internal auditing.
Elie is also a dedicated educator at renowned universities in Lebanon, including the Lebanese American University (LAU), Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), and AZM University.
